Welcome to CityPoint, London
CityPoint makes a striking addition to the London skyline, and is one of the internationally recognised statements of corporate influence. The tower offers spectacular views across London. The building provides a vibrant and dynamic working environment.
The original building was constructed as the worldwide headquarters for British Petroleum.
The property was partially demolished, enlarged and redeveloped in 2001 to provide approximately 65,642 sq m (706,557 sq ft) of lettable space in one of London’s most iconic buildings.
Almost 90% of the property provides office accommodation with the remainder being made up of shops and restaurants at ground floor level, car parking, a fitness centre and storage at basement level. The building extends over basement, ground and 34 upper floors, with an overall height of approximately 120 meters, making it at the time of construction in 2000 the third tallest office building in the City of London.
CityPoint has been designed efficiently and effectively to meet the modern needs of international business. It offers a contemporary image towering above a large landscaped public square.
The building’s spectacular entrance canopy is approached through the public square, leading to two dramatic twelve storey cathedral-like galleria, offering an inviting and exhilarating experience for both occupiers and visitors alike. The two gallerias allow natural daylight to penetrate into the heart of the development, creating a feeling of scale and corporate arrival.
